Privacy Policy and Agreement

At Cannon Federal Credit Union, we recognize that our relationships with our members are based on trust. As a member, you trust us with your financial and other personal information, and we are committed to respecting your privacy and safeguarding that information. We pledge to protect your information by adhering to the privacy practices described on this page.

•    Information received from members or prospective members on applications or other forms.
•    Information from transactions involving your accounts or services with us.
•    Information received from consumer reporting agencies.
•    Information obtained when verifying information provided by members on applications or other forms, such as from current or past employers, other financial institutions where members conduct financial transactions and other sources listed on applications.

The only Cannon Federal employees who have access to nonpublic personal member information are those employees who need that information in order to administer member accounts and transactions. Cannon Federal maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard nonpublic personal information about members.

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our members or former members except as permitted by applicable law. To benefit our members, we share the information we collect within the credit union, and with certain trusted third parties described in this paragraph, who are obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your private information. We use the services of various third parties to assist us in offering financial services to our members. For example, we use the services of third parties for processing transactions using credit cards, checks, check cards, ATM cards and other access devices.

These affiliates and companies that assist Cannon Federal in providing services to members will be given only the information they need in order to provide the service, and must agree to protect confidential member information.

Cannon Federal Credit Union will never sell its member list or nonpublic personal information to any third party. If membership is terminated, Cannon Federal will not share member information, except as permitted or required by law.
 

In order to make full use of our mobile app's functionality, you may be asked to provide additional permissions on your device. These permissions are optional, and may be revoked at any time in your device's settings.

Camera
We ask your permission to access your device's camera in order to deposit checks into your account via Remote Deposit Capture.

Storage
We ask your permission to access your device's storage in order for you to attach files to secure messages that you may send to us, and to receive files attached to secure messages that we may sent to you.

Location
We ask your permission to access your device's geolocation in order to use our branch locator.

The Cannon FCU Mobile Banking App and the Cannon Federal Credit Union website may contain links to third party websites. When you click on a link to any other website or location, you will leave the App/website and go to another site, and another entity may collect personal and/or anonymous information from you. The App/website's provision of a link to any other website or location is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other websites or location or its contents. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. Please be aware that the terms of this privacy policy do not apply to these outside websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit.

Cannon Federal Credit Union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. Its volunteer board is elected from and by the membership. Cannon Federal Credit Union is committed to protecting your financial privacy.
